…was to create a short aftermovie that captures the spirit and mood of the X Warrior Race visually.
We shot all of the footage on one day, competing in the race on the next. Filming was done using a mirrorless camera on a gimbal, underwater case, gimbal, cinematic and an FPV drone.
Sadly the weather did not play along that weekend, rendering conditions to film and fly drones difficult and at times impossible. Nonetheless we were able to capture a set of key visual elements that, when pieced together, provided an excellent taste of what it feels like to be part of the X Warrior Race.
